When temperatures hit all-time highs with lots of humidity one thing you really want to do is keep a cool head. This is not the time to consider hair pieces or hair extensions. It is not the time of year for cascading curls or hard to maintain hairstyles. The heat calls for simplicity. Humidity calls for easy to control. This is the time to consider a long braid down the back. If you like short hair it is the time for spiky hair that stays spiked. Or a boyish hair style with a part at the side and the hair all brushed back. This is the time for large hair grips that really grip and hold the hair up and off and out of the face. It is time for a short sleek hair style that stays in place with minimum fuss.
This is not the time to experiment with elaborate hairstyles but ones that say simplicity and ease of care. If you have bangs you might consider keeping them brushed to the side or keep them slightly fluffy so if it is humid they will only curl more. If you have curly hair let it curl as much as it wants. This is the time to put you hair up. Use barrettes to hold longish hair back from the face. This is a good time to flip a ponytail through the open part of a ball cap.
