One problem that many people have with shorter haircuts is that they feel that they will not be able to dress them up the same way that they can longer haircuts. What you may not realize, however, is that you have loads of options for how you can dress up your pixie cut and make it as feminine and unique as you are.

Color. Color is a good way to dress up any haircut—not just a pixie cut. You can either dye your whole head one color or you can choose to frost your hair in order to change it up a little bit. It’s up to you what you want to do, but keep in mind your place of work and whether or not you are permitted to dye your hair.

Next, barrettes. Barrettes are cute, fun, simple…and they work on pretty much anyone’s hair. If you have a longer pixie cut, then this is especially great for you because you can use more in more places on your hair!

Headbands are another option. You can use thick headbands, small headbands, and all sorts of headbands in between. You can even use one or two headbands to add to your hair and give it a funky change of pace!

Lastly, you can spike your hair or go for the wet look. The wet look isn’t hard to achieve and neither is spiking. Just make sure that you spike from the roots upwards in order to make sure that your spikes won’t fall flat.
